This photo shows some of the expert ski trails at Showdown Ski Area in Montana. On the southern part of the mountain, the expert runs are all found at the top. Towards the bottom, the trails flatten out considerably. Expert skiers wishing to avoid the long run-off to the bottom of the lift should utilize the mid-station on the lift, which shaves more than 7 minutes off the lift time back to the summit.
