Rolling Hills & Excellent Views
The fourteen mile stretch of the Philipsburg Valley Scenic Loop that follows Highway 348 is, in my opinion, the most scenic. On this stretch, the road crosses a relatively low pass across the smaller, moderately forested mountains of the John Long Mountains. From near the pass the views to the west are superb.
