Two Medicine Lake is one of
the more popular lakes in Glacier
National Park. While not as popular
as Swiftcurrent
Lake, St.
Mary Lake or Lake
McDonald, Two Medicine Lake
still receives quite a bit of use. And this shouldn't be surprising -
since the lake is set in a stunningly beautiful area. Additionally, another
nice "feature" of the lake is that during the summer a tour
boat regularly runs around the lake. The tour boat also serves as an
informal "hiker shuttle" for hikers who are out on a day hike
on the Dawson-Pitamakin Loop or are simply heading out into the backcountry
and don't want to take the 2.5 mile hike on the Two Medicine Lake Hiking
Trail that runs around the lake itself.
