Camping Books

If you're new to camping, it is often difficult to know what types of gear to get. While nothing takes the place of experience (and I've had a few memorable and forgettable experiences), a book or two can always come in handy to help you select the right gear and provide some hints that will make camping more fun and enjoyable. Plus, some of these books are just "plain fun" to read, even if you don't remember one thing!

Remember, if you come away with a few skills you didn't have before, remember them and use those skills while out camping...then the purchase of the book was worthwhile.

All of these books on this page are available through Amazon.
