The towns location on US Highway 93 guarantees a lot of people passing through town on their way into/out of Canada, especially during the summer months. Canadians are also known to flock to Eureka (and nearby Whitefish and Kalispell) when the exchange rate is favorable, too. One of the favorite shopping items for Canadians in the USA is....tires.
