Distant Mountain Seen From the Skalkaho Highway
I personally think the best views on the Skalkaho Highway Scenic Byway are found on the eastern side of Skalkaho Pass, before the highway enters National Forest lands. Down in this lower elevation, the views really open up, allowing excellent views of the mountains the "ring" the Philipsburg Valley.
