Scenic Meadow Along the Backcountry Drive
My favorite part of the Judith River Backcountry Drive occurs on the northern side of the Little Belt Mountains at the mid and lower elevations, where the route starts to follow the South Fork Judith River. After emerging from the thick forests, the route begins to meander thorugh a series of beautiful and very large open meadows that are surrounded by forested mountains.
