Just 30 miles west and north of Great Falls. A VERY reliable source tells me there was a Wolf sighting by several people. They saw three wolf walking down the R&R tracks next to the Muddy creek just south of the town of Power.I've trapped there before and it was good for several coyotes in a season, suppose not so much now. HUMMM. I read in the Daily rag ( tribune) the FWP ,IS extending the wolf season out to Feb 15th.We can't legally trap them or use "E" calls so I'll have to run out there one day and try some hand calling... Any one know what a Wolf in distress sounds like?

Its the sound you hear when a 150 gr 7mm rem mag round makes when it punches a hole through a wolfs shoulder.

YUP just read it in our paper... Thats Nuts. There is an unlimited amount of food for a wolf in a town like that. Dogs,cats,kids,"Don't get any better then that"
I hope all them "Greenys" there enjoy there wolfs.

Got to ranting there. The season closed with out filling the quota. I"VE got to try harder next year I'd love to have a wolf hide in my collection
