Nikwax Tech Wash

Product Details

Nikwax Tech Wash safely revitalizes breathability and water-repellency in technical outdoor outerwear such as drysuits, drytops, splash wear, jackets, ski wear and more. Use this non-detergent soap to clean waterproof, breathable clothing and equipment without damaging the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coatings. Prolongs the life of gear and optimizes outdoor performance by lifting out dirt that can attract water and mask water repellent finishes. Common detergents and washing soap can damage the water-repellent qualities of technical fabrics such as GORE-TEXA(R), eVentA(R), NRS TriTon(TM) and NRS HyproTex(TM). Nikwax Tech is easy to apply. You can even use it in a washing machine! Important Note: Do not machine dry garments with neoprene or latex gaskets or socks. Also, machine washing can damage drywear zippers.

Whitewater Rafts & Gear Checklist

Sure You Need It? : Read the Whitewater Raft Guide to make doubly sure you need such a large and expensive boat. Often, a smaller inflatable kayak or inflatable raft will meet your needs.
Don't Overdo It : It IS tempting to get a boat larger than you think you'll need "just to be safe." However, smaller and lighter rafts are more maneuverable.
Don't Forget the Pump! Unless you want to spend hours inflating the raft manually, save your lungs by getting a raft pump.
Don't forget rope and tie-downs. You need something to lash dry bags down to your raft. And keep it lashed at ALL times!! Visit the Raft Accessory page to find stuff you might need.
Keep Your Gear Dry! Be sure to absolutely, positively get a dry bag. Otherwise, you'll have the fun of trying to dry out your gear over a campfire or buying a new iPod or cell phone. Visit the Dry Bags section to find various bags that meet your needs..
