Photos of the Beartooth Highway Scenic Drive

The fifty-mile long Beartooth Highway is one of the pre-eminent scenic routes in the United States. The route, which runs between Red Loge and the junction with Highway 296 in Wyoming east of Cooke City, crosses the stunning Beartooth Plateau. Highlights of the trip include a beautiful drive through alpine tundra, superb views of the highest peaks of the Beartooth Mountains, and great views of many mountain ranges in Wyoming.
