Meadows and the Peaks of the Pioneer Mountains

The Pioneer Mountains, especially on their western flank (which receives more precipitation), are very wooded. However, there's still plenty of open meadows along the drive that provide excellent views of the taller peaks of the Pioneer Mountains.
