Have I mentioned yet how great of a view you get of Glacier National Park when hiking the Highline Trail? Well, this view is one of them. This photo looks west from the Highline Trail, down the Lower McDonald Creek Valley and towards Lake McDonald. The Going to the Sun Road is also visible way down in the valley bottom, following McDonald Creek. Heaven's Peak is the tall mountain in the right of the photo and Mt. Cannon is the tall mountain to the left.
