The Beaverhead Mountains & Medicine Lodge Valley
The Beaverhead Mountains rise abruptly off the Medicine Lodge Valley floor. The Big Sheep Creek Backcountry Byway follows the road seen here, which is still in decent condition. But a few miles further up the Byway, the road turns much less pleasant to drive.
