Sierra Designs All Season Windjacket - Men's

Product Details

When the wind picks up out on the trail and starts sucking the warmth straight off your skin, pull the Sierra Designs Men's All Season Windjacket out of your pack and keep on trekking in comfort. The softshell fabric is lightweight and stretchy to block wind and repel light moisture without adding bulk or limiting mobility. A trim cut allows enough room to wear a baselayer and light midlayer underneath, yet is still slim enough to fit comfortably under a shell. Die-cut underarm vents keep you cool without the hassle of zippers, and the hood lays flat when down so it doesn't bunch behind your head. The hand pockets and chest pocket are accessible even when you're wearing a pack so you don't have to take off your pack to pull out your camera, and a hem drawcord and cuff tabs prevent chilly drafts from blowing in.

Rain Jacket Checklist

Rubber is for Tires : Don't even think about getting a rubber rain jacket. Why? Read below..
Get a Rain Jacket That Breathes! Unless you enjoy being wet in your own perspiration, get a rain jacket that breathes, letting your sweat escape.
Go Gore-Tex. There are a number of different fabrics that keep rain out but let your sweat escape. But, the best is still Gore-Tex.
Packable? If you plan on taking your rain jacket into the boonies, make sure it's packs down tightly and into a small package. The best ones are those that "fold" into their own pocket.
Three Jackets in One! By getting a good Gore-tex rain jacket that is also packable, you now have a jacket for wet weather, windy weather and cool weather. So congratulations!
