This photo was taken near the top of the Liberty Bowl Trail at Big Sky Resort. The Liberty Bowl Trail is the only single diamond trail that leads down from Lone Peak Summit. It is a spectacular trail with superb views. Just beware...the trail, while groomed, is long and consistently steep. And the featureless terrain up above the trees makes the length of the steep part of the trail seem deceptively short.
