| This is the scene one gets about 20 miles to the south of Winnett. And this view is pretty common in and around Winnett. A vast expanse of prairie - with the occasional mountain rising in the far distance, depending on which direction you are facing. While Winnett is located way out in the priaire of Montana, things are not exactly flat. Indeed, this photograph really makes things seem a bit flatter than they really are. Around Winnett, there are lots of small hills that are seperated by sizable distances of flat farm fields, providing a rolling topography to the landscape. |
