This photo was taken from the Loop Trail, about 2/3 of the way up from the "Loop" on the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park. This part of the trail was burned over during the Trapper Creek Fire of 2003. Yet, in August of 2004, as seen here, the ground cover has made a remarkable recovery.
