I'm not sure what type of flowers (I think they are fireweed, but don't hold me to it) these are, but they certainly are beautiful. The pink flowers make such a beautiful contrast against the white flowers that mysteriously grew right next to it. What is truly amazing is that this whole area, as you can tell by the dead trees, was completely burned over in the summer of 2003 by the Trapper Creek Fire.
