The Haystack Butte area on the Highline Trail marks the halfway point between the trailhead at Logan Pass and the Granite Park Chalet. This photo was taken just below the informal "Haystack Pass", where the Highline Trail cuts between Haystack Butte and the Continental Divide. If you look closely, you can see where the trail switchbacks up the mountain.
