Hiking Books about Glacier National Park

McDonald Creek is seen here flowing along the Going to the Sun Road. The huge mountains rising in the distance are part of the Continental Divide, known as the Garden Wall. The mountains rise more than one vertical mile almost straight up from the McDonald Creek Valley (which is where this picture was taken from). This is a good place to go to feel "small" and "insignificant", as the mountains truly dominate everything around.
