St. Mary Lake is seen here from Sun Point, which lies about 2/3 of the way up the lake. The view here is looking west, towards the Continental Divide. This picture was taken in October 2002 since on my trip here in June 2003 the sun was facing me directly, thus washing out the pictures and color. It was REALLY windy the day I took this photo - had to take about 20 of them in order for one to come out in focus (the wind was making it difficult just to stand up!).
