St. Mary Lake is 9.9 miles long, in case you can't read the sign! This picture of St. Mary Lake in Glacier National Park was taken right at the head of the lake, near the St. Mary entrance station. This portion of Glacier National Park is notoriously windy - and this day was no exception as you can tell by the whitecaps on the lake.
