This is Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park. Even though this is like one of the very first photographs I took of Lake McDonald with my "then new" digital camera, it is still undoubtedly my favorite. I got so lucky arriving in early morning in May to find this glistening reflection of the snow capped peaks of Glacier. Just a case of where "everything turns out right." An hour later, this view was "gone", so to speak...swept away by high winds and a approaching storm.
