| When my friends and I first visited Winnett, it was during November of 2003 on a hunting trip. We arrived after dark, and sort of drove around in circles for a bit trying to track down the location of the hotel. We then saw this sign - on a relatively foggy and very dark night. As the only building you see when you see the sign from the road is the abandoned and falling down building in the background, we REALLY wondered what we were getting into! As it turns out, the hotel is a block further down the road. |
