This is an overview picture of Great Falls, Montana - looking north. It was taken from the Visitor Center which is perched up on a small hill to the south of the downtown area. It's kind of tough to tell in this picture, but you can sort of see how development comes to an abrupt halt just outside of the downtown area. One nice thing about Great Falls is that the town really has no suburban sprawl - with the city quickly giving way to the vast Montana prairie. |
