Abandoned Grain Elevator in Bainsville, MT

Bainsville, Montana, is the furthest town on the eastern side of the Montana Hi-Line. Or, to put it another way, it is the first town a person sees after crossing the North Dakota border into Montana. Like many Hi-Line areas, Bainsville has been hard hit by population loss. This abandoned grain elevator is testament to the consolidation that has occurred in the agricultural industry in Montana.
