NRS Wonder Pump 6

Product Details

You've finished lunch and rigged your boat, and then realize that your raft is soggier than a wet sandwich. Use this pump to top off and be on your way. The NRS Wonder Pump 6 is a great top off pump that can easily solo for IK's or smaller inflatable's. Compact pump allows you to connect to even the hard-to-reach valves on any raft or IK. 5' non-kink hose and 7 adapters are included with the pump. The NRS Wonder Pump 6 is a double action pump; working to inflate on both the upward and downward motions of the handle. Opening the white plug in the cap changes the pump to a single action mode, making it a bit easier to pump. There is a threaded port in the top of the handle. You can screw in the NRS Mechanical Pressure Gauge, Item # 80007.02, for pressure readings while you pump. 4" diameter x 18.5" high to the top of the handle with an 4.5" x 8" base. The NRS Wonder 6 has a chamber volume of about 0.69 gallon (2.6 liters). In double-action mode this gives you 1.4 gallons (5.2 liters) per stroke.

Whitewater Rafts & Gear Checklist

Sure You Need It? : Read the Whitewater Raft Guide to make doubly sure you need such a large and expensive boat. Often, a smaller inflatable kayak or inflatable raft will meet your needs.
Don't Overdo It : It IS tempting to get a boat larger than you think you'll need "just to be safe." However, smaller and lighter rafts are more maneuverable.
Don't Forget the Pump! Unless you want to spend hours inflating the raft manually, save your lungs by getting a raft pump.
Don't forget rope and tie-downs. You need something to lash dry bags down to your raft. And keep it lashed at ALL times!! Visit the Raft Accessory page to find stuff you might need.
Keep Your Gear Dry! Be sure to absolutely, positively get a dry bag. Otherwise, you'll have the fun of trying to dry out your gear over a campfire or buying a new iPod or cell phone. Visit the Dry Bags section to find various bags that meet your needs..
