Water Sandals v. Water Shoes

There are three main types of footwear for active watersports like kayaking,
canoeing and similar activities. Your three choices are the water
shoe,
the water sandal and the all-so stylish boat shoe. So, what are the differences?
Differences Between Boat Shoes, Water Sandals and Water Shoes Boat
Shoes : Boat shoes work great if you have a yacht or a big
fancy fishing boat and you won't be clamboring on and off slippery
shore rocks, etc.. However, if you plan on rafting, kayaking or fishing
from shore or from a boat that requires you to enter the water, leave
them in your car. Boat shoes are basically quick drying
leather moccasins. Their traction is good but nothing special. And they
don't offer the true quick drying that a good quality water shoe or sandal
does. Additionally, they take a bit more time to drain completely as
well.
Water
Sandals : Water sandals are excellent types
of footwear to use for active watersports. They are the quickest drying
of all the footwear
designed for water use. Moreover, as they are sandals, water doesn't
get stuck around the foot at all. The downside is that being a sandal,
they do not provide much in the way of protection to the top of the foot.

Water
Shoes : Water shoes are the ultimate type of
footwear to use in active watersports. The reason I like water shoes
over water sandals
is that they provide better foot protection. While a good quality water
sandal for active water activities provides good toe protection, a water
shoe also provides protection to the top of the toes and foot. You'll
understand why you want this protection next time you drop a paddle on
your foot - trust me. More Information about
