Abandoned Homestead Along the Byway
I took this photo for two reasons. First, many people (including myself) like to see old, abaonded farm and ranch buildings. But secondly - and far more important - the Byway goes by this place. There's a un-marked junction a bit before you reach this building. You want to go LEFT (assuming you're heading east toward the Kipp Recreation Area) at the junction. If you go straight at the junction, you'll have a boring (but safe) ride through the Montana prairie. To drive the Missouri Breaks Backcountry Byway itself, you need to take a left at that junction and soon see this abandoned homestead.
