Located in southwest Montana on US Highway 93 in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley and 48 miles south of Missoula, Hamilton is an attractive and fun town to visit. Hamilton has a superb location for outdoor recreation, too, as the Bitterroot River passes right through town and the Skalkaho Highway Scenic Byway begins just south of town. Additionally, the high peaks of the Bitterroot Mountains rise just to the west, providing a scenic backdrop.
