The internet is great, isn't it? So much to read, so many things to
buy, so many things to learn. Yet, at times there almost seems like there
is too much on the Internet.
This is especially so if you are looking for sales/closeouts on various
items. Web surfers will be bomarded by pop-up ads, coupon sites that
have no coupons that meet your needs, web pages that mysteriously open
up multiple new windows, and the list goes on and on.
So, to help rectify this situation, I've put together this page - which
should help anyone locate some sales/closeouts on snow boots and winter
boots.

Zappos is my favorite shoe store. They have a huge selection. All orders
I've placed have come through without any problems whatsoever. Thus,
they are my recommended online shoe store.

I'm a huge fan of Sorel products, including their boots and

Shoebuy is an interesting online store. The company offers about the
same prices as Zappos does and has virtually the same guarantees/policies
that Zappos does. I have never bought any products from them, but they
have an excellent bizrate rating, so I suspect they live up to their
policies. I think Shoebuy would be a good place to buy shoes from if
Zappos does not have what you want in stock.
Winter Footwear on Sale at Shoes.Com
Shoes.com is yet another fine retailer of shoes and boots. They have
an excellent selection and policies similar to that of Zappos and Shoebuy.
Winter Footwear at Backcountry.com
Backcountry.com is
my favorite technical outdoor store. They are a splendid place to shop
for quality outdoor gear, since as skis, sleeping bags,
tents, etc..They also carry a nice selection of winter footwear, although
not nearly the extensive collection as Zappos has. However, Backcountry
tends to carry some things (particularly technical winter boots) that
Zappos doesn't. So they are worth checking out. Free shipping on all
orders over $50.

Backcountry Outlet is an outlet store for Backcountry.Com. The outlet
is where both sale items from backcountry.com can be found as well as
some specials that are only available through the outlet. All items sold
