Pontoon Style or Round Style? Pontoon style float tubes are far easier and less tiring to maneuver, as they cut though the water far easier than a round style does.Pontoon style float tubes also usually more features. While they cost somewhat more, they are worth it. |

Float Tubes and Rivers Do NOT Mix! Float tubes are designed for small lake/pond fishing. They are not designed for use in rivers...especially rivers with a fast current, or worse, with rapids. If you need a boat to fish the rivers with, get a pontoon boat...not a float tube. |
