Question Buffalo any one?

Well I did IT!! I just entered the drawing for the 50 Buffalo tags this winter, The second half.I'm quite sure I'll get the tag and get a buffalo,SO. WHO wants some buffalo meat????????? May be I'll have a BBQ And Invite all of you!My wife and I don't eat over 250lbs of meat in a year!!!!!!!
Will all of you come in February for a Buffalo BBQ ??

I'm in but we will have to do it wial Ice fishing at Holter or Hauser.

I want to see pics of that big boy dead.

I like the ground meat better then the steaks but that was just me. Butch added sweet fat to it a 15% and it was to die for. Good luck on the draw. Stryker

I have the same problem with my Buffalo. It's been a year and a half since I killed mine, but I still have about 1/3 of the meat left.

To keep the meat fresh, most definitely go out and get a FoodSaver machine. These machines vacumn pack the meat in freezer-proof plastic. It works wonders in keeping meat fresh and preventing freezer burn. If you get a full Buffalo, expect at least 300 pounds of meat at an absolute minimum.
