Default Yes!!!

Now that will be exciting! These are the first to be issued? If so It would be real neat if you could get wolf number one. Haven't read how anyone hunts them but I assume they are territorial and you would use a call to make them think you are trespassing? Won't you be a friend of PETA!

Congratulations...that must have been a tough tag to snag.

So...now that you have one, how do you plan on hunting for them? I have no clue on how to hunt for wolves.

Don't jump on me here, cut me some slack i live in the UK,i just don't know the situation where you live.
Is there a need to hunt the wolves?
Has the population got out of hand?
Finally, what do they taste like?!
Cheers

Wolves in Montana have made a good recovery. The Federal Government recently de-listed them from the Endangered Species Act and, for Montana at least (not Wyoming, btw), the State came up with a plan to ensure that wolves aren't over-hunted and end up on the endangered species list again. The State of Wyoming's plan wasn't, well...really a plan at all. So despite Wyoming having more wolves (and probably more a need to do some hunting of them to keep populations under control), the Feds rejected Wyomings plan.

From what I understand, the numbers of wolves that can be taken each year is very limited...just like 20-30 this year. So it's not a massive hunt by any means. Just enough to keep populations from getting out of hand. The number of wolves that can be taken each year will be adjusted up/down each year...depending on various factors.

My thoughts are we need Wolves and many more to take care of the sloppy hunters Missing there marks.

One would think a Montana Hunter would feel the same but I say they just want to take another long shot at something and say they killed it. LMFAO!!!!

Karma is hell on ones Life I must say and good by to those Poachers that take a shot just to take one. Stryker

Edit, PPL dont eat them they just Kill them for a sport.

Thanks for clarifying that, i did suspect that was the case.
There was a BBC program last year where the presenter visited a farmer (i think it was Montana but it might have been Wyoming, in the same programme Ted Turner was interviewed, i will keep my thoughts to myself on that guy.) and he was to say the least really fed up with the wolves in his valley, killing his livestock, and pet dogs!
But he said his hands were tied....not any more!
Cheers
