Question Anybody kilt anything yet?

Hey guys! 4 days into grouse and partridge and bow season --anybody got anything yet?
My latest: Went last weekend and got 9 Iranian Wood Pigeons and ... drum roll ... a nice big Iraqi Jackal that slipped over the lip of the pond to take a quiet drink. They run across the runways a lot, and we don't want any collisions with the F-16s out there, so they are fair game, too. I snuck up behind him and hit him with a load of 7 1/2 shot in the side. He didn't take too kindly to it, growling and gnashing his teeth, but it got him to turn, and the second load caught him in the head, and it was over quickly.

No pics this time, sorry!

Tell me about your hunts!!

I DID ! I DID!
3, Sage hens,4 huns, 2 doves, and 8 sharpies.
We centered around Winet central MT. Spent three days, walked our a$$ off. It was 90*+ all three days. We didn't see that many birds but for an advance trip for "P" goats we found a LOT of nice bucks and some Great bucks. We didn't see any Elk but lots of elk hunters!

Nice, D!!
How were the snakes out that way? I've always heard early season was tough because of all the rattlers out there. Looks like some nice speed goats, too. I want to put in for a buck tag next year, and hope to be able to get out that way!

D -
That's awesome! Everyone I hunted with last year said that sharpies sucked as far as eating, but my family and I really liked them. The huns were fantastic, too.
I'm missing the mountain grouse season, but I should get some late season huns and sharpies.
