Thumbs up My first antelope!

Hey all~
I'm new here and thought I'd throw a picture of my first ever antelope out there. Got him at about 65 yards with my 270. Enjoy!

65 yards is a real feat too you must have put one heck of a sneak on him!!!

Where you located and which district did you shoot your goat in???

I'm in Helena but I got him just north of Hysham, I forget the district though...

BTW, this forum needs to be busier!

I am doing spring bear this time!!!! I am planning on covering some area in the Little Belts while scouting for elk too!!! I am looking forward to it........

Yup, I don't think anybody will be able to stop me from doing that again this fall. Hopefully this year will be dry, we had to stay in a hotel instead of camping "out in it" which would have been great.

Attached is a goat taken right in the same area a week before we got there, sorry about the black and white, I hit the wrong button at the wrong time...

Default Nice goat!

That is an awesome buck, and the B&W pic is great. Something a little different than just another pic of a guy with a dead critter. It captures the Montana landscape and sky well too. Nice!
