Trip planning assistance
I'm attempting to plan a trip out west to Yellowstone sometime during 2007. My dates are very flexible. 2 people for 2-3 weeks. We'll be driving a smaller rv out. I would only require somewhere to park the rv to sleep. I don't need lots of amenities in a campground.
All things considered, what are the best times for visiting during the late spring, summer, early fall? Why did you recommend that time frame? We'd like to do lots of spin/fly fishing, size really isn't paramount, but good numbers would be ideal. What are the "Don't Miss' sites/places. Any other fishing advice would be a bonus.
Would towing a small boat be worth it or is most of the fishing done in rivers/streams?
Thanks in advance.
