Just wanted to let you know that I was back out on 450 again on Sunday with my 14 year old son, again we were on Ogdons place and one other ranch. We had filled our two permits on opening day but decided to go back the next Sunday with two over the counter doe tags. The real war was over and there was just 4 outfits back there. The heards were real spookey, We tried a sneak but did not succeed, we watched a couple of other guys putting on the sneak and no results. The end result was 2 doe tags in the wallet but a great day in the field. Maybe its time to go

Hi fishohn, sounds like you had a great day out there anyhow. Don't give up on those two over the counter tags just yet. Once gun season opens this coming Sunday, hardly anyone will be hunting antelope. You will probably fill those tags yet if you are willing to go back out there. I ended up with 90 pounds of boneless meat in the freezer off of those three antelope and it sure is hard to beat those grain fed antelope out there as far as taste goes.
