hi mrbungle, check out this site-
http://www.explore-rocky.com/fishing/default.htm
It should help you out a good deal with - camping spots and fishing regs., which are pretty genoruos you should be eating well on brookies. No greenbacks tho!

(thier protected) a 1 day Co. lisence will cost you $9 or a 5 day for $21 which also covers Rocky Mountain Nat. Park, and, i believe that in Yellowstone you need a Yellowstone fishing lisence which is about 10 bucks.-- Find Glacier Creek when you get to Rocky Mountain and fish it for some nice brooks ,rainbows browns and cutts up to 14 inches!

The Big Thompson has some grat fishing too, both in-side and out-side the Park!

Camping will be great at any of the sites you pick. You can buy a lisence on line, but be sure to stop in at St.Vrain Anglers on your way into the Park off of hwy 36 (theres one in Lyons or Estes Park, the one in Lyons,

all the flies are tyed by A.K Best) Hope this helps and you have a great road trip!
