If you read my Hiking Pants
Guide, you should by now realize I'm NOT
a fan of blue jeans when it comes to hiking. While blue jeans work great
around town and the farm, they are lousy for hiking.
So, if you've made the very smart decision to get a pair or two to use
for your hiking trips in Montana or elsewhere, I've listed a few from
various quality manufacturers below. Now, just remember, make sure that
whatever hiking pant you decide to get is convertible! You want any hiking
pant you get to have the option to be used as shorts, too. And convertible
hiking pants provide that option.
