CamelBak Tahoe LR Lumbar Pack - 305cu in

Product Details

Ideal for stand-up paddleboarding and other upper-body-intensive activities, the Tahoe LR Lumbar Pack keeps your arms and hands free to paddle, fist-pump, or throw gang signs. Rather than commit to a large backpack specialized to one type of activity, strap on this slim hip-hugger, able to adapt and hydrate you wherever your hobbies take you. Since the 1. 5 liter Antidote reservoir isn't the largest available, we recommend bringing extra water if you plan to stay out for two or more hours. Lightweight and durable, the 9. 8 ounce Tahoe sports DWR- coated diamond Clarus with Ariaprene, quick-drying fabric perfect for water-based activities. If you need some extra storage, just loosen the compression straps and take advantage of the paddle holster, stash pocket, or bungee cords. The Tahoe even comes fit with a Camel clip, lanyard, and safety whistle for extra confidence in your excursions. Season after season, CamelBak's super scientists have been hard at work refining and perfecting the Antidote reservoir, the industry's most popular solution to hydration. At the turn of a cap (a quarter turn to be exact), you can open or close the reservoir, refilling and securing it again in seconds. Center baffling and a sleek design prevent your water from jostling about inside your pack while running, hiking, or hitting the park. When not off exploring the world, simply disconnect the tube using the Quick Link System and hang up the Antidote for proper drying or storage. Since last year, CamelBak's go-to reservoir system has actually lost some weight, reducing bulk in the fill port and offering you that much more convenience.

Hydration Packs Checklist

How Much Pack Capacity? Hydration packs come in all sorts of sizes. Check to packs capacity (not just the water capacity), to see it meeds your needs.
How Much Water Capacity? Better to have a "bit too much" water capacity instead of "not quite enough." Remember, these aren't canteens. "Unused" space in the water reservoir lays flat and weighs little.
Planning on Doing Lots of Day Hiking? If so, you might be better off buying a dedicated technical day pack. Most new ones are now "hydration compatible", allowing you to buy a hydration reservoir and carry it seamlessly inside the pack.
