Product Details

Thunderstorms in the forecast' No worries--just put on the Columbia Watertight II Jacket and you'll be right as rain. The Omni-Tech waterproof/breathable nylon shell is fully seam sealed, so not only does it keep moisture out, but its air-permeable design allows unwanted perspiration to escape. When it starts to drizzle, just pull on the adjustable storm hood with abrasion-resistant chin guard. And no worries about getting the right fit--this jacket comes with an adjustable drawcord hem, so you're good to go. You can also use the zippered hand pockets to keep you hands warm, or to pack your jacket inside, once you return indoors to warm up by the fire.

Fleece Jacket Checklist

Say "No" to Cotton: If you take cotton in the Montana backcountry...you'll be sorry sooner or later.
Pull-Over or Zip-Up? Both are popular and widely available. Make sure you get the right style for your own needs.
Snug Around the Neck? Some people like it...other's don't. But snugness helps keep the cold from seeping in. So it's a feature worth examining.
Pockets? Some fleece has tons of pockets, others none whatsoever. So check the specs before plunking down any money.

Bridger Creek Backcountry Drive : A twenty-nine mile drive between Absarokee and Interstate 90. The drive crosses an empty grassland plain that provides nice views of the Beartooth & Crazy Mountains.

The Bighorn River : The Bighorn River provides some of the finest trout fishing not just in Montana, but in the Lower 48.
