Your slide scanner works very well - you can't really tell that this was from a slide. Does it take long to scan your slides?

I bought a used Nikon Coolscan 5000 scanner several years ago on Ebay. Just now getting around to scanning the 22 trays of 35mm slides I've collected over the years. Right now, I'm on tray 17 of 22. Takes about 80 to 90 seconds per slide, with the auto feeder. That includes load, scan, clean, and recolor. This scanner can scan @4000 dpi. I'm quite happy with the results.

The resulting pictures end up in the 19-20 megapixel range(5400x3600 pixels). Very large!
