I just moved here from NC and long to see a field full of elk. My boss said that while driving back from Boulder, MT, that before coming up the hill ( on I-15 N), he saw at least 40 elk on the flats. I thought I'd let you know, but you probably knew that!
Anyways, thanks for the photos.

Hi Gersech,
If you REALLY want to see a field full of elk, there is no place better to go than Yellowstone Park in the summer and, above all, the National Elk Range in Jackson Hole in November or later. First time I went to the Elk Rang in Jackson I couldn't believe how many elk were around. And in Yellowstone, many of the open areas like the Lamar Valley have huge herds as well.
