This is such a cool photo. I wonder who in the world made the hike up here? This cam is at Glacier Point...3000 feet directly above the Yosemite Valley. The road that leads to it is closed in the winter and is more than 18 miles long! Someone made a very long hike up in the dead of winter to make some snowmen!!

Have a screen grab in my collection somewhere of ski tracks in this cam shot but that too would be a heck of a hike just to share your snow art with the world! Thanks for the background info Jim, all adds to the interest

Ditto Jan! 1,000,000+ Views. That's great. I wish we could find out where all these people are that view our pics. I'm rather curious. Any one else?

I am curious also. Maybe Jim could help us? I know I've been on at least 1000 times myself!

Yes, congratulations Jan! 1 million views.. hard to imagine isn't it. I really like watching the view counts. It's interesting to see how popular a picture is with others. Keep up the good work!
By the way... are these snowmen sporting mohawks? lol

About the views....
One odd thing about the software used, is that everytime a photo is requested to be seen, it is counted as a view. Which is good. However, the software doesn't differentiate between a human and a computer...or in this case...a search engine robot. Thus, every time Google spiders this site, it likely views each of Jan's photos once. And since Google essentially spiders this site daily, her photo that are posted...along with everyone else's...get viewed a lot, just not necessarily by humans!
