Cabelas GORE-TEX Guidewear Wading Jacket

Product Details

Our best, most advanced wading jacket is engineered with GORE-TEX Performance Shell fabric that not only gives anglers the protection necessary to fish in virtually any weather, but also offers the durability to reliably withstand the toughest, most remote locations. Plus, it has more features than any other wading jacket we carry. It's constructed for complete freedom of movement, so you can cast or maneuver your boat without bunching or binding. The jacket has a large amount of storage capacity in nine pockets, five of which have waterproof zippers. A unique, adjustable, watertight GTX cuff system keeps water out of your sleeves. The fused storm flap on the front gives it a clean look with a watertight seal. Three accessory clip points for attaching additional gear. We're confident you won't find a better wading jacket with this many features for a price this low anywhere else. Imported. Sizes: S-3XL. Color: Woodland/Bark.

Price : $ 219.95

Wading Jacket Checklist

Warm Enough? If you can only afford one jacket, buy one that is warm enough to meet the coldest weather fishing that you do.
Enough Pockets & Attachment Points? Like a fly fishing vest, a wading jacket should have a good supply of pockets and places to attach your other gear.
Waterproof? Virtually all wading jackets are, but some are only "water resistant," which is basically useless in the rain. Thus, get a jacket that is waterproof with either Dry-Plus or Gore-Tex. Both these fabrics, besides being waterproof, are also breathable.
Lose the Rubber Rain Jacket. Rubber doesn't allow your body's perspiration to escape...thus essentially making you wet (and cold) as the minutes turn to hours. Rubber (and other fabrics that do not breathe) rain jackets are uncomfortable and useless.
