Mixed, Dry, Nymph or Species Specific? For trout fishing, especially if you currently do not have a large selection of flies, it makes sense to get a "trout specific" fly assortment. With that, you can find which flies work best for you...and then buy those flies separately in the future. If you do not currently own a lot of flies, it is kind of a waste of money to buy ten fly assortments at the very beginning. |
