With the increasing popularity of fly fishing, the number of pontoon
boats available has skyrocketed. Not that many years ago one would be
lucky to find half a dozen. Today, larger retailers like Cabela's frequently
carry two dozen or more.
And rather nicely, many of these pontoon boats are quite affordable.
Prior to this wide selection of boats becoming available, finding a inexpensive
boat was about impossible. Today, though, you'll find plenty of boats
priced at less than $400 - some even less than $200 (although you DO
get what you pay for, so beware).
