Marmot Trestles 15 Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Spirafil

Product Details

Camp can be a cold, miserable place during a mountaineering trip, so Marmot gave the Trestles 15 Sleeping Bag a load of features to turn your tent into your second home. Dual zippers allow you to open this bag from either side for excellent ventilation when you dont need quite as much warmth. Seal yourself in with the insulated draft collar when you need every advantage you can get to keep from freezing. Marmot used a large trapezoidal foot box to decrease constriction at the bottom. The Trestles 15 Sleeping Bag also uses baffled construction to eliminate cold sports in the Spirafil 120 synthetic insulation.

Three Season Sleeping Bags Checklist

Down vs. Synthetic. The age-old question. Down bags pack down tighter and are a few ounces lighter. On the negative side, they are useless when wet, often take forever to dry (and many can't be tossed into a dryer), and tend to be more expensive.
Heading Out in Wet Weather? Then get a synthetic sleeping bag...period. This way, if your bag gets wet, you won't have a useless sleeping bag for the rest of your trip.
Float Camping? Again...get a synthetic bag. Be a bummer to have your bag end up in the water and become useless for the rest of your float trip.
Where Ounces and Packability Matter. Then go with a goose down bag. This is especially true if you are a bike camper, climber or camp in the desert.

Bowman Lake : Bowman Lake sits in a deep bowl surrounded by thick forests and towering mountains, and rivals other lakes in Glacier in terms of scenery. Bowman Lake also receives far less use, as it can be "less than pleasant" reaching the lake due to bumpy and dusty roads.
