The Western Mountaineering Antelope Super DL: 5 Degree sleeping bag allows you to bound into the most frigid climates without a care. When the Sierras or the Rockies are your usual destinations, and you need the maximum protection from your bag, leave nothing to chance with our Antelope Super. Its roomy 62 shoulder girth allows for comfort and the 7 loft from 26oz of high lofting down provides warmth down to 5 degrees. The security of this bag is sealed with a full 3-dimensional down filled Super Collar and a robust draft tube. Our DryLoft 830 shell fabric is the lightest weight and most compressible DryLoft available. It is the most water resistant, breathable fabric for sleeping bags. This bag has the collar and a draft tube completely made with DryLoft fabric to create an impenetrable seal. These Antelopes take over in early spring and last till late fall. At a total weight of 2lb, 13oz, they are the most substantial 3-season bag available. -Vendor

Three Season Sleeping Bags Checklist

Down vs. Synthetic. The age-old question. Down bags pack down tighter and are a few ounces lighter. On the negative side, they are useless when wet, often take forever to dry (and many can't be tossed into a dryer), and tend to be more expensive.
Heading Out in Wet Weather? Then get a synthetic sleeping bag...period. This way, if your bag gets wet, you won't have a useless sleeping bag for the rest of your trip.
Float Camping? Again...get a synthetic bag. Be a bummer to have your bag end up in the water and become useless for the rest of your float trip.
Where Ounces and Packability Matter. Then go with a goose down bag. This is especially true if you are a bike camper, climber or camp in the desert.
